BJ Art Designs
Although I have been creating art and crafts since I was a young girl, my interest has turned to beading for the last
seven years. The art of beading is so versatile from jewelry making, to embellishing unique items, to bead embroidery.
I'm a self-taught bead artist, and this art has been such a satisfying creative outlet for me. There is no end to the
beautiful possibilities. As a "Bead Painter", my palette consists of Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, pearls,
seashells, charms, buttons and a variety of shapes and sizes of beads. When I'm not beading you will find me searching
through antique shops and thrift stores for unusual beads or unique items to embellish. One of my favorites are the
old dresser and powder jars from the 1930's - 1950's. Other items I embellish are trinket boxes, music and
jewelry boxes. I love the ocean and when vacationing in San Diego, I am an avid beachcomber. I enjoy collecting
seashells, sand dollars, and whatever else may look interesting. Many of my "collected" items will find their
way into my pieces. Living in Colorado not far from the mountains, I am surrounded by God's beauty and believe our lives
and talents are a gift from Him. I hope that my beaded pieces of art inspire, stir your soul, and make God smile.
